  • Educational Qualifications: General category candidates must have scored at least 55% in their Master’s degree or equivalent examination from universities or institutions recognized by UGC in subjects like Humanities, Social Science, Computer Science, Applications, Electronic Science, etc. For candidates belonging to OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/SC/ST/PwD/Third gender categories, the required percentage is 50%.
  • Age Limit: For Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), the age limit is 30 years as of the first day of the month the examination is conducted, with age relaxations applicable as per government norms.
  • Relaxation Policies: Relaxations in educational qualifications and upper age limits are available for reserved categories as per existing reservation norms of the Government of India.
