TNPSC Group 4 Hall Ticket 2024, Written Exam Date Notice Released

The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) will conduct the Combined Civil Services Exam (CCSE-IV). This exam is being organised to recruit individuals to fill 6244 Group-4 positions across various departments within the state administration.

The application process for this examination started on the 30th of January, 2024, and the applications were accepted until the 28th of February, 2024. If you need to make corrections to your application, you can do this between the 4th and 6th of March, 2024. The date for the examination has been set for the 9th of June, 2024.

The TNPSC Group 4 Hall Ticket is a crucial document that candidates must carry to the exam centre. It will be released by the commission on the official website at least 10 days before the examination. Without this, a candidate may be denied entry into the hall.

There are 108 positions for Village Administrative Officer, 2596 for Junior Assistant, 1712 for Typist, and 448 for Steno Typist. A large number of candidates applied for these vacancies. The organization has started the application scrutiny, and all eligible candidates will be called for the written test accordingly.

TNPSC Group IV Selection Process

The selection process for the TNPSC Group IV recruitment comprises two main stages:

Written Examination – The initial phase of the selection process is the written examination. The examination covers various topics, which include General Studies, Aptitude Tests, and General Tamil/English, depending on the specific requirements of the post.

Document Verification – Candidates who successfully pass the written examination will be called for the document verification process. This stage is to confirm the authenticity of the information provided by the candidates during the application process.

Examination Schedule – The written examination for the TNPSC Group IV positions is scheduled for 09 June 2024. For now, this date is fixed; however, if any changes are made to it, they will be updated on this website.

TNPSC Group-4 Paper Pattern 2024

  • TNPSC Group 4 Exam 2024 will be of 3 hours.
  • The exam is expected to contain a total of 300 questions.
  • Candidates must achieve a minimum score of 90 to qualify, with the maximum possible score being 300.
  • The general studies section will consist of 75 questions.
  • An aptitude section will have 25 objective questions.
  • The General English/General Tamil component has been removed following the recent update to the TNPSC Group 4 Syllabus PDF.

  3. It will redirect you to a new page, then select ‘Combined Civil Services Examination Group-IV’.
  4. Enter the required details, such as application ID and date of birth.
  5. The hall ticket will be displayed on the screen. Verify all the details mentioned on the admit card.
  6. Download and take a printout of the hall ticket.
