TN Nursing & Midwives Council Information: Candidates who have obtained Recognised Qualification within Tamilnadu and Registered the same Qualification in Tamilnadu Nurses and Midwives Council, as per the Act.
Register the Qualification in the relevant State
Primary registration: The Act refers to candidates who have obtained Recognised Qualification in Tamilnadu and Registered the same Qualification with Tamilnadu Nurses and Midwives Council.
1) Candidates can apply online and send the documents to this Council for Registration.

Tamilnadu Candidate’s (Primary) Additional Qualification
This Council will register the candidates who have Obtained a Nursing Qualification after they have registered their Basic Qualification in Tamilnadu Nurses and Midwives Council.

Other State Basic and Additional Qualification Registration
You need to register the Qualification in the State where trained you. Also,register the Qualification in the State where you have been trained.
Register the Qualification where you are trained in India. Register the Qualification in the State where you have been trained—secondary registration.
After you have surrendered your parent Registration Certificate to your Council, you should apply for a NOC (No Objection Certificate) from the Parental Council in Tamilnadu to register the profession within Tamilnadu.
All nurses working in Tamilnadu must register with TNNMC. According to the ACT TNNMC ACT-1926. It is compulsory to practise the profession in Tamilnadu.
I) Information about other state candidates for Auxiliary Midwife/ANM registration
Register your Qualification in the State where trained you. Register your Qualification in the State where you have been trained.
Additional Qualification for Other State Candidates (Secondary).
Register Particulars for Additional State-Trained Candidates (B.Sc. Nursing, Post Basic / M.Sc. Nursing)
This Council will register the Additional Qualification for candidates who have completed their Nursing Qualification and registered their Basic Qualification with Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council.

Verification & Other Registration
According to the “State Nurse Registry”, the Tamilnadu Nurses and Midwives Council’s document is maintained for candidates looking for employment in India and abroad.
Duplicate Certificate
This Council issues duplicate certificates in the event of loss or damage to the registration certificate. After one year, when the certificate was lost, a Candidate may apply for a duplicate Registration Certificate.
