Tier 1 Exam Over, Tier 2 Soon

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has updated the examination schedule for the SSC JE 2024 Tier 1 exam. There is slightly change in the SSC JE Tier 1 exam dates due to the Lok Sabha Elections, which are now rescheduled for 5th, 6th & 7th June 2024. Candidates who are appearing for the first-tier examination must be aware of the revised schedule. The exam will be conducted as a computer-based test. The official authorities have provided the revised schedule for the examination through a notice on the official website https://ssc.gov.in/.

SSC JE Exam Date 2024 Out

All the candidates who are going to appear for the tier-1 examination for various Junior Engineer posts in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Quantity Surveying & Contracts departments/ministries/organizations in the Indian government must be aware of the updated Exam Dates. The examination will be conducted at various examination centres for a total duration of 2 hours. The SSC JE 2024 computer-based examination will be conducted in multiple shifts.

The Staff Selection Commission will publish the complete examination schedule on their official website, candidates need to appear for the exam as per the respective schedule. The computer-based exam (Tier-1) will be conducted on three consecutive days from 5th to 7th June 2024 and the admit card for Tier 1 exam for NEW and WR regions has been released on 27th May 2024.

SSC JE Tier-1 Exam Pattern 2024

Candidates appearing for the SSC JE upcoming tier-1 examination must be aware of the marking scheme and the complete exam pattern for better preparation. The mode of the exam will be Computer-Based Examination (CBE) which will be for a total of 200 marks. The latest exam pattern will also help the candidates devise a good study plan which will help in an effective and efficient exam preparation. General awareness, general intelligence & reasoning intelligence, and subject-specific general engineering sections are included in Junior Engineer Paper 1 exam. Check important points.

1. Paper I include 200 multiple-choice questions.
2. The exam will be conducted for a total of 200 marks.
3. CBE (Computer-Based Examination) will be conducted for 2 hours (120 minutes).
4. For every incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted.
