Registration: Process of granting authority to use an Exclusive Title for those persons who wish to enter the “State Register” Maintained by the Law of the State
Tamilnadu Candidates (Primary)
Register the Qualification in the relevant State
Primary registration: The Act refers to candidates who have obtained Recognised Qualification within Tamilnadu and Registered the same Qualification in Tamilnadu Nurses and Midwives Council.
1) Candidates can apply online and upload required documents to this Council for Registration.
Register for the following programs with the Provisional/Original Nursing Qualification Certificate from Recognized Examination Bodies.

Tamilnadu Candidate’s (Primary) Additional Qualification
This Council will register the candidates who have Obtained a Nursing Qualification after they have registered their Basic Qualification in Tamilnadu Nurses and Midwives Council.
Additional State Candidates (Secondary registration)
Register the Qualification in India where you were trained. Register the Qualification in the State where you have been trained. Secondary registration.
You will need to surrender your parent Registration Certificate to your Council in order to obtain a NOC (not required) from the Parental Council in order to register in Tamilnadu Online to practice the profession.
All nurses working in Tamilnadu must register with TNNMC. According to theTNNMC ACT-1926It is compulsory to practise the nursing and midwifery professions in Tamilnadu.
No Objection Certificate
Ask for a letter from the candidate, indicating in which state they will be moving. The Candidate must also apply online and submit all documents according to our link “Requirements For Registration”.
Duplicate Certificate
This Council issues a duplicate certificate in the event of loss or damage to the registration certificate. The Candidate may apply for a Duplicate Registration Certificate after six months since the date the Certificate was lost.
Change of name
