RBI Group B Officers – Eligibility Requirements & Conditions

Educational Qualification

Candidates who have completed their Bachelor’s degree or graduated from a recognised university can apply for these positions. Candidates must upload their educational qualifications or academic certificates at the time of application registration.

Age Limit (as on 01-01-2024)

The minimum age limit of the candidates should be 21 years and the upper age should be not more than 30 years. The age relaxation will be as follows:

  • For OBC category candidates: 03 year
  • For SC/ST category candidates: 05 years

RBI Group B Officer Recruitment – Application Date and Fee Details

The application registration will be started in June 2024, but the exact date is not mentioned yet. Candidates are advised to be familiar with all essential documents accordingly. The applications will be accepted by paying a nominal fee, which will be as follows:

Reserve Bank of India Group B Officers – Selection Procedure

The Group B Officers will be selected based on the several phases, which will be as follows:

  • Prelims Exam
  • Mains Exam
  • Interview

The prelims exam is qualifying in nature, while the mains exam is an objective and descriptive test. The Prelims comprise the subject knowledge and aptitudes, and the Mains exam will be specific for each post. Shortlisted candidates who score higher marks in the Prelims and Mains Exam will be called for the last round of the selection process, which will be an Interview. Based on the aggregate marks obtained in all phases, candidates will be appointed as Officers in various banks nationwide.
