Candidates should ensure that they satisfy all the assistant eligibility conditions and submit the application form within the deadline in order to appear in the selection process. They will be required to undergo three selection stages, Written Exam, Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Document Verification and Medical Examination.

As per the notification, all eligible candidates should apply online for the post on or before September 20, 2024. All the aspirants whose applications have been accepted by the court will only get the opportunity to appear in the written exam. Peon Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

  • Minimum Qualification: Candidates must have passed the Middle Standard (which typically corresponds to 8th grade in the education system).
  • Maximum Qualification: Candidates should not have educational qualifications higher than 10+2 (which corresponds to 12th grade) from a recognized School Education Board or recognized School.

Age Limit:

The age of candidates for all categories should not be less than 18 years and should not exceed 35 years as of 20/09/2024.

1. Written Test:

  • Total Marks: 100 Marks.
  • Structure: The written test consists of 50 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), each worth 2 marks.
  • Subjects Covered: The test includes questions on general knowledge, general awareness, current affairs, and numerical ability.
  • Language: The question paper will be available in English, Hindi, and Punjabi.
  • Duration: 90 minutes.
  • Marking Criteria:
    • General category candidates must score a minimum of 50%.
    • Reserved category candidates (SC/ST/BC) must score a minimum of 45% to qualify for the next stage.

2. Physical Endurance Test:

  • Eligibility: Candidates who rank within 10 times the number of advertised vacancies (except the PWD category) in the written test will be called for the Physical Endurance Test.
  • Nature: This test is only qualifying in nature and does not carry marks towards the final selection.
