NVS Non Teaching Recruitment 2024, Check Vacancy Notice and Apply Online

Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has announced a recruitment drive in 2024 for a wide range of non-teaching positions to job seekers nationwide. Though the applications will be accepted online, candidates can apply until 30 April 2024.

This initiative aims to fill 1377 vacancies in various roles, including Female Staff Nurses, Assistant Section Officers, Audit Assistants, Junior Translation Officers, Legal Assistants, Stenographers, Computer Operator, Catering Supervisor, Junior Secretariat Assistants, Electricians cum Plumber, Lab Attendant, Mess Helper, and Multi Tasking Staff.

Samiti has announced the online application schedule. The starting date to apply online is 22 March 2024. The last date to apply online for NVS Non Teaching Staff Recruitment has been extended till 14 May 2024.

Application Fee

For the position of Female Staff Nurse, candidates belonging to the General, EWS, and OBC (NCL) categories are required to pay an application fee of Rs.1000 and a processing fee of Rs.500, Candidates from the SC, ST, and PwBD categories are not required to pay an application fee but must still cover the processing fee of Rs.500.

For other posts excluding the Female Staff Nurse, the fee structure is slightly different. General, EWS, and OBC (NCL) candidates must pay an application fee of Rs.500 and a processing fee of Rs.500. SC, ST, and PwBD candidates are exempt from the application fee but are required to pay the processing fee of Rs.500.

Selection Process

The selection process for the NVS Recruitment 2024 varies depending on the post for which candidates are applying.

  • Candidates applying for Female Staff Nurse, Assistant Section Officer, Audit Assistant, Junior Translation Officer, Computer Operator, Catering Supervisor, Lab Attendant, and Multi Tasking Staff positions will be selected through a Competitive Exam.
  • For those aiming to secure the position of Legal Assistant, the selection process consists of two stages a Competitive Exam and an Interview.
  • Applicants for the roles of Stenographer, Junior Secretariat Assistant (both HQ/RO Cadre and JNV Cadre), Electrician cum Plumber, and Mess Helper will undergo a Competitive Exam followed by a Trade/Skill Test.

Follow the steps given below to fill out the NVS Recruitment Application form 2024:

  1. Go to the NVS official website: www.navodaya.gov.in.
  2. Navigate to the ‘Recruitment’ section and select the option to fill out an online application.
  3. Follow the link for the ‘Recruitment Drive-2022’.
  4. Read the instructions carefully, agree to them, and then click ‘Start’ to begin registration.
  5. Complete the registration form with your name, phone number, and email address.
  6. Submit the form to receive your user ID and password via email.
  7. Log in with your new user ID and password.
  8. Access the application form through the ‘Go to Application’ tab.
  9. Fill in your personal and educational details.
  10. Upload the required documents and agree to the declaration to proceed.
  11. Pay the examination fee using one of the available payment methods.
  12. You can check your application status after two days from the payment.
