Nursing scholarships and grants are available to help nurses finance their education. There are nursing scholarships for all students. This includes undergraduates and graduate students. It also includes students who study certain areas of specialization.
Check with your state nursing board for additional opportunities. There are many states that offer nursing students scholarships and repayment programs.
Nursing and Student Grants
Amount: $5,000
Who can apply? Any student in a nursing program accredited by the American Nurses Association may submit an application.
Amount: $2,000
Who can apply? This scholarship is available to all prospective clinical nurse specialists and nurse midwives who are enrolled in a California Board or Committee-approved nursing program.
Maximum: $25,000
Who can apply? Students pursuing a BSN or MSN in Nursing at a member institution of the AACN may be eligible to apply.
Amount: $2,500 quarterly
Who can apply? Candidates must be tribal citizens and may pursue any STEM related degree including nursing.

Who can apply? Eligible candidates should be undergraduate nursing students who are enrolled in a degree program accredited by the American Association of Colleges and Schools. They must not have any federal judgment liens or service obligations, nor outstanding federal loans.

Who can apply? Applicants should be Jewish and born in Chicago. They must also intend to stay in Chicago following graduation.

Who can apply This award is for LPNs or RNs who are willing to work in a Kansas-sponsored facility, such as a psychiatric or home care agency or an adult home.

Who can apply? Candidates must be Lambda Pi Alpha Members, Illinois Residents, and Undergraduate Students.

Who can apply? Applicants are required to be Loyola Nursing students.

Who can apply? Full-time graduates enrolled full time in an accredited graduate program, who have not submitted a service application.

Who can apply? Scholarships may be available to Pennsylvania residents who maintain a GPA of 3.0 or more in an approved program by the state board.
