Calculate the Score using NEET PG Key 2024

The NEET PG 2024 answer key is a valuable tool for candidates who want to estimate their scores using the exam’s marking scheme. It’s important to understand that, similar to the question paper, the National Board of Examination (NBE) does not release an official answer key for the NEET PG exam. However, by using the answer key provided by coaching centres or experts, candidates can calculate their scores.

To do this, you need to count the total number of correct and incorrect answers you selected during the exam. According to the marking scheme, each correct answer will earn you +4 marks, while each incorrect answer will result in a deduction of -1 mark.

To predict your tentative score, follow these steps:

  1. Multiply the total number of correct answers by 4.
  2. Multiply the total number of incorrect answers by -1.
  3. Finally, subtract the total score of incorrect answers from the total score of correct answers.

This final calculation will give you an estimate of your score in the NEET PG 2024 exam, helping you gauge your performance before the official results are announced.

How to challenge the NEET PG Exam Answer Key 2024?

Challenging the NEET PG 2024 answer key is a process that allows candidates to raise objections if they believe there are errors in the answers provided. Although the National Board of Examinations (NBE) does not officially release the NEET PG answer key, some coaching centres and experts may provide memory-based keys. If you come across any discrepancies in these unofficial keys, here’s how you can challenge them:

Step 1: Review the Answer Key Carefully

First, download the answer key provided by the coaching centres or experts and compare it with your responses. Identify any answers that you believe are incorrect based on your knowledge and the study materials you used.

Step 2: Gather Supporting Evidence

If you find any discrepancies, gather evidence from credible sources such as textbooks, research papers, or official guidelines that support your claim. This evidence will be crucial in making a strong case for your challenge.

Step 3: Contact the Relevant Authority

Since the NBE does not release an official answer key, you cannot directly challenge them. However, if the coaching institute that released the answer key has a mechanism for addressing such concerns, follow their procedure. Typically, this involves filling out an objection form and providing details of the questions you are challenging, along with your supporting evidence.

Step 4: Submit Your Challenge

Submit your objections as per the guidelines provided by the coaching institute or experts. Ensure that you follow their instructions carefully, including deadlines and required formats. Some institutions may charge a fee for submitting challenges, so be prepared for this possibility.

Step 5: Await the Response

After submitting your challenge, the relevant authority will review your objections and the evidence provided. If they find your claim valid, they may revise the answer key accordingly. Keep in mind that the final decision rests with the experts who created the key, and their response will be based on the strength of your evidence.

Step 6: Calculate Your Final Score

Once the final answer key is released, use it to recalculate your score. This updated score will give you a more accurate prediction of your performance in the NEET PG 2024 exam.

Remember, the process of challenging an answer key is designed to ensure fairness and accuracy. By following these steps, you can help ensure that your performance is assessed as accurately as possible.
