The Indian Navy recently released a notification for recruiting Indian Navy Agniveer MR (Matric Recruit) for batch 2/2024. This notification was released on 03 May 2024 at joinindiannavy.gov.ni with detailed information regarding the commencement of the registration and applicabilities.

The organisation has not released the total number of vacancies, a detailed notification about the number of vacancies will be released officially in the upcoming days. It will be released with the huge number of vacancies, which will be decided based on the service recruitment.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Educational Qualification: Candidates who have passed the matriculation examination with a minimum of 50% marks from the Boards of School Education recognised by the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
  • Age Limit: The minimum age limit of the candidates must be 17.5 years. Candidates should be born between 01 November 2003 to 30 April 2007.
  • Material Status: Candidates should be not married, unmarried male and unmarried female candidates are eligible to apply for this recruitment batch.

Note: Candidates who appear in the 10th class examination and are waiting for the result can apply by providing the other eligibility criteria.

Registration Fee

Candidates have to appear in the Indian Navy Entrance Test (INET) to be selected for the recruitment batch 2/2024. For this, the organisation will change the amount for the entrance test, which will be ₹550. Along with the entrance fee, candidates have to pay 18% GST during the online application. It will be acceptable through net banking, debit card, credit card, visa and master.

Selection Process for Agniveer MR Batch

The selection will be based on two stages i.e. State I Shortlisting and Stage II a Physical Fitness Test (PET), a Written Exam followed by a Medical Examination. Here are the detailed information about these stages:

Stage I) Shortlisting: The shortlisting will be based on the marks obtained in the Indian Navy Entrance Test (INET). It will be held in a state-wise manner. It is noted that the cut-off marks for shortlisting and other selection phases will vary from each other. It will be a Computer-Based Test (CBT), which will be conducted online.

State II) Physical Fitness Test (PET): Shortlisted candidates will be called for the PET by issuing the call-up letter for the second stage of the selection process. The PET is mandatory for selection. After conducting the PET, the organisation will take a Recruitment Medical Examination, which will be considered to prepare the final merit list of the selected candidates.

  5. After entering the details, ensure that the details are accurate or complete.
  6. Pay the registration fee and submit the application form to the organisation.
  7. After registration, take a printout of the registration form for further processing.
