KSET Syllabus 2024 and Exam Pattern, Marking Scheme & Topics

KSET is an eligibility test conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority for candidates who wish to serve as Lecturers and Assistant Professors in the Universities and colleges of Karnataka. The exam will be conducted in offline mode with MCQS format. Karnataka Examination Authority has released a new exam pattern and syllabus for the KSET exam 2024. Karnataka State Eligibility Test Syllabus and Exam Pattern 2024

KSET exam is a state-level exam in Karnataka. Any candidate who is appearing for this exam should know about the new syllabus and pattern of the exam. Candidates are selected for Lecturers and Assistant Professors after a written exam and document verification. This paper is distributed in two parts i.e. Paper I and Paper 2. The candidates will be able to score better only if they cover their entire syllabus as per exam pattern, which is provided in this article below.

KSET Paper I Syllabus 2024

KSET Syllabus 2024 has different subjects and topics, candidates must go thoroughly through the complete list of topics as per the exam for which they are appearing. The topic-wise preparation of the exam will help to obtain good marks.

KSET Paper I Exam Pattern

Paper l will consist of 50 objective-type questions each carrying two marks and will be conducted for 60 minutes (1 hour). There shall be no negative marking for each wrong answer. Check subject-wise number of questions and marks from table below.

The KSET Paper II Syllabus 2024 is different from the Paper I syllabus. KSET Paper II Exam Pattern

Candidates who clear the paper I exam will have to appear for paper II exam which will be for a total number of 200 marks. This paper consists of 100 questions and 2 hours are given to complete it. There is no negative marking in this paper.
