JKPSC KAS Notification 2024 Out for 90 Officers Posts, Apply Online Starts from 1 August

The Jammu and Kashmir Public Services Commission (JKPSC) has released an advertisement notification for conducting the Jammu and Kashmir Combined Competitive Examination-2024. A total of 90 vacancies have been announced for officer posts including Junior Scale of J&K Administrative Service, J&K Accounts Service, and J&K Police Service. The online application window will be opened from 1st August 2024 as per the dates mentioned in JKPSC Notification 2024. JKPSC KAS Recruitment 2024- Important Dates

The dates for online registrations along with some other important dates have been specified in the JKPSC KAS Notification 2024 pdf. The prelims stage of the Jammu and Kashmir Combined Competitive Examination-2024 will tentatively be held on 10th November 2024 (Sunday) in two shifts.

JKPSC KAS Vacancy 2024

The Jammu and Kashmir Public Services Commission has released post/service-wise vacancies for Kashmir Administrative Services recruitment. A total of 90 vacancies have been released out of which 30 are for J&K Accounts Service, 30 for J&K Police Service, and 30 for Junior Scale of J&K Administrative Service.

The link to fill out JKPSC KAS Application Form 2024 will be activated from 1st August 2024 onwards at the official web portal of exam conducting authorities. Once activated, the direct link to apply for JKPSC KAS Recruitment 2024 will also be activated here. Candidates are suggested to submit the application form before the deadline i.e. 21st August 2024. The application edit will be opened on 22nd August 2024 from 12:00 am onwards and will be closed on 24th August 2024 at 11:59 pm.

Steps to Apply for JKPSC KAS 2024

For the ease of candidates, we have shared here the complete step-by-step process that will help candidates apply online for the Jammu and Kashmir Combined Competitive Examination-2024. Also, for this candidates must have a stable internet connection.

1. On any device, open a web browser of your choice and go to the official website of the Jammu and Kashmir Public Services Commission i.e.
2. Find out the “Apply Online” link for JKPSC Kashmir Administrative Services Recruitment 2024 and click on it.
3. Now register as a new user by entering relevant information including your name, mobile number, email ID, etc.
4. Once registered, a username and password will be generated. Use these credentials to log in and then fill out the JKPSC KAS Application Form 2024.
5. Complete the form by entering all the required details in it. Also, upload the scanned images of the candidate’s photograph and signature in the prescribed format along with your mark sheets and other required documents.
6. Proceed further for reviewing the filled online form, and now go to the next step.
7. Here, pay the requisite fee as per your specific category.
8. Click on the “Submit” button for the final submission of the application form.

JKPSC KAS 2024 Application Fees

While filling out the JKPSC KAS Application Form 2024, candidates will be asked to pay application/requisite fees through online payment mode. As per the JKPSC KAS Notification 2024, general category candidates have to pay Rs. 1200/- for requisite fee.

JKPSC KAS Eligibility Criteria 2024

It is mandatory to fulfill the eligibility criteria for JKPSC Kashmir Administrative Services posts as prescribed by official authorities. Candidate’s age, qualifications, and physical standards are evaluated to determine their eligibility status for the released vacancies.

Age Limit (As on 01.01.24)

The Jammu & Kashmir Public Service Commission has specified the age limit of the candidates as per the specific categories to determine their eligibility for the JKPSC KAS 2024 recruitment drive. Only the upper age limit has been described, physical challenged candidates must not be older than 35 years as on 1st January 2024 i.e. may not have been born before 1st January 1989 and not after 1st January 2003.

Educational Qualifications

• Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University in India or from a Foreign University declared by the Government in consultation with the Commission to be equivalent to a degree from a recognized University.
• Those who have passed the final professional M.B.B.S or any other Medical Examination but have not completed their internship by the time of submission of their applications for the Combined Competitive (Main) Examination, will be provisionally admitted to the Examination provided they submit a copy of the certificate from the concerned authority of the University/Institution that they had passed the requisite final professional medical examination.

Number of Attempts

The authorities have also limited the number of attempts to appear for the Jammu and Kashmir Combined Competitive Examination-2024 but those belonging to SC/ST categories and also the physically challenged candidates have no restriction.
