HSSC Police Constable Eligibility 2024
Educational Qualification:
- The candidate must have passed 10+2 from a recognized education board or institution.
- Matric with Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects is mandatory.
Note: No additional weightage will be given for higher education.
Age Limit:
- The candidate must be between 18 to 25 years old as of September 1, 2024.
Age Relaxation:
- Ex-servicemen are allowed a break in service of up to four years.
- SC/BC/EWS candidates are eligible for an age relaxation of up to 5 years.
Haryana Police Constable Selection Process 2024
The selection process consists of multiple stages:
Physical Measurement Test (PMT):
Candidates must meet specific physical standards as per the Haryana Police guidelines.
Physical Screening Test (PST):
- Male candidates: 2.5 km run in 12 minutes
- Female candidates: 1 km run in 6 minutes
- Ex-servicemen: 1 km run in 5 minutes
Knowledge Test:
- This test carries a weightage of 94.5% and includes objective-type questions.
- The medium of examination will be bilingual (Hindi/English), except where language proficiency is tested.
- Candidates must score at least 50% to qualify for general category posts. For reserved categories, the cutoff is 40%.
- Candidates with NCC certificates will receive additional marks (1-3 marks depending on the level of certification).
