CUET UG Answer Key 2024, Check Shift-wise Responses Sheets and Objection Process

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has conducted the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for the academic year 2024-25. This examination was organized for Undergraduate (UG) program admissions and was conducted in two sessions a day from 15 May to 31 May 2024.

The CUET UG Examination was a computer-based test (CBT) conducted online in 13 different languages. According to the report, more than 19 lakh applications were received for this entrance test. A large number of registered students participated in this entrance test for admission to undergraduate courses.

CUET UG Exam Overview

This examination was divided into two sessions, which were held from 15 May to 31 May 2024 at various test venues across the country. This entrance test was a Computer-Based Online Examination in 4 sections: IA, IB, II and III. Look at the following table to check the shift-wise exam timings:

Section IA & IB and Section II comprised 50 questions (40 questions were compulsory to attend in each section) and Section III comprised a total of 60 questions (50 questions were compulsory to attend). The sum of the total marks of these sections was 800. 05 marks were awarded for each correct answer, and 01 mark was deducted for each incorrect answer. All questions were objective-type based on the 12th-level examination conducted in English, Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Urdu, Bengali, Punjabi, and Odia languages.

CUET UG Answer Key Details and Availability

The provisional answer key for the CUET UG will be available for 3 to 4 days after the exam. Students need to download the provisional answer key during this time. A direct link to download the provisional answer key will be provided on cuetug.ntaonline.in. These keys contain the correct answers to all the questions in the exam. Students need to compare their answers with the key to ensure accuracy.

Objection Process

After releasing the provisional answer key, the agency will provide a link to “Raise Objection” against it. Students who find errors while checking their answers can challenge it by submitting their objections. The testing agency will charge a nominal amount per objection. After reviewing the objections, the agency will release a revised answer key to the students.
