CSIR NET Application Form 2024, Last Date Extended till 27 May

The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) NET (also known as CSIR NET) exam is a national-level exam held twice a year.  NET conducts the CSIR NET national-level exam for those who are willing to make a career as a Junior Research Fellowship in government PSUs and the assistant professor/Lectureship (LS) in government universities. As per official notice, the last date to apply online for the CSIR NET 2024 Exam has been extended till 27th May 2024. Candidates who have still not submitted their application form yet have another chance to fill the form at earliest from the official website of  https://csirnet.nta.ac.in. CSIR NET Application Form 2024

The CSIR NET online application link has been activated, post the release of the CSIR NET 2024 notification pdf. Interested candidates attain the required eligibility criteria for Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor must fill out the CSIR NET Application Form 2024 without waiting for the last date. Candidates are requested to read the notification pdf carefully and enter all correct information in specific fields. Any information found incorrect at any stage of recruitment will lead to the cancellation of candidature. CSIR NET Application Form 2024 Link

The online application process for CSIR NET 2024 is ongoing on the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA) https://nta.ac.in/. Interested and eligible candidates have to submit their online form to get enrolled for the examination. Candidates must keep all necessary documents in hand while submitting the application forms. CSIR NET Application Form 2024 will be accepted through online mode only, any application form through other means will not be accepted in any case. The direct online application is also provided below in the article which will remain active till 27th May 2024 (extended).

CSIR NET 2024 Application Fee

Candidates must note that candidates must pay an application fee while submitting the CSIR NET Application Form. The application fee will be paid via UPI Debit/Credit Card/UPI or Internet Banking through any of the payment gateway of SBI/ICICI. The CSIR NET imposes online fees on the following categories.

How to fill out CSIR NET Application Form 2024?

Interested candidates should check the step-by-step guide for an easy application process and they must follow the steps below to fill out CSIR NET 2024 application form.

Step1: CSIR NET Registration Form

  • First, Visit the official website of CSIR NET, https://csirnet.nta.ac.in/.
  • On the home page click on the link that reads “Joint CSIR-UGC NET June 2024- Click Here to Registration/Login.
  • Click on ‘New Candidates Register Here’
  • Fill in the basic information including the candidate’s name/ mother’s name/ father’s name, date of birth, mobile number, and e-mail address, and create a password.
  • After the successful submission of the personal details, an application number will be generated and sent candidate’s registered email ID and mobile number.

Step 2: CSIR NET 2024 Application Form

  • Candidates must Log in with the system-generated application number and pre-created Password to complete the Application form.
  • Filling out the personal details and required educational qualifications details.
  •  Upload scanned images of the candidate’s photograph, signature, and certificate (wherever applicable).

Step 3: Pay Examination Fee

  • After completing the candidates must be required to pay an application fee.
  • Select the Net banking/Debit card/Credit card/UP option to pay the application fee.
  • Pay the application fee as per category.

Important Instruction for Photograph and Signature

  • The recent photograph should be color or black/white (but with clear contrast).
  • The scanned photograph and signature should be in JPG format.
