  2. Click ” E-admit card for Combined Defence Service Examination (II), 2024″ under the “What’s New” tab.
  3. Now, enter the registration ID or roll number, date of birth, and captcha in the required fields.
  4. The admit card will appear on the screen.
  5. Lastly, download or print the copies of admit card for future reference.

a) For Admission to the Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy and Air Force Academy

  1. The written exam is divided into three subjects i.e. English, General Knowledge, and Elementary Mathematics.
  2. Each section carries 100 marks and the exam duration is 2 hours for each section.
  3. There will be a negative marking of One third (0.33) of the mark for each incorrect answer.

b) For Admission to the Officers’ Training Academy

  1. The written exam is divided into two subjects i.e. English and General Knowledge.
  2. Each section carries 100 marks and the exam duration is 2 hours for each section.

CDS 2 Exam Guidelines

Candidates are advised to read the exam guidelines after downloading the CDS 2 Admit Card 2024. With this, you must locate the exam centre in advance to avoid last-minute rush on the examination day.

  • Reach the exam centre at least 45 minutes before the reporting time to complete all verification formalities on time. If you fail to reach the designated time, then you will not be permitted to enter the exam centre.
  • It is mandatory to carry the admit card along with the Photo ID proof to the exam centre. If they fail to submit the admit card then they will not be allowed to participate in the exam.
  • Candidates must not carry any prohibited items like Bluetooth, mobile phones, calculators, etc to the exam hall. If they are found with any of these items, their candidature shall be cancelled immediately.
  • It is advised to keep the black ballpoint pen and preserve the admit card until the selection process is over.
  • You must carry passport-size photographs and extra copies of the hall ticket to avoid any last-minute rush in case of any discrepancies on the examination day.
  • Read all the guidelines mentioned in the hall ticket to maintain the decorum of the exam hall.
