The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the notice regarding the exam schedule for UPSC CAPF Exam 2024. The exam will be held on 04th August 2024 in two shifts at various exam centers across the country. The UPSC CAPF exam is held annually for the recruitment of officers in all Paramilitary Forces of India, which includes the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).
CAPF Exam Date 2024 Out
The UPSC will conduct the UPSC CAPF AC 2024 exam to recruit 506 Grade A Officers (Assistant Commandants) vacancies. The exam consists of 02 papers. Paper 1 for General Ability and Intelligence will be held in morning shifts from 10:00 am to 12:00 Noon and paper 2 for General Studies, Essay, and Comprehension will be held in evening shifts from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. UPSC CAPF AC Exam Schedule 2024
The UPSC CAPF written examination for Assistant Commandants posts is scheduled for 04th August 2024. The exam consists of 2 papers and will be held in two shifts. Paper 1 will be held from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm and Paper II will be held from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

UPSC CAPF Exam Pattern 2024
- UPSC CAPF Exam consists of 02 papers. Paper 1 and Paper 2.
- Paper- I will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) with a negative marking of 1/3rd mark for each wrong answer and paper II is in descriptive format.
- Paper I is of 2 hours duration and Paper II is of 3 hours duration
- Papers I & II will be in bilingual language & English, excluding English paper
- Paper I is a qualifying stage. Only those candidates who qualify for the Paper 1 exam will be checked for the Paper 2 exams.
